Kaszazz Creative Challenge No.10

Well, I have had a very productive day. I have played hard with most of the new embellishments from the May release. There are so many wonderful new products it was really hard to choose which I wanted to play with. I ended up using a whole packet of the Sticky Gems. Love them. They are so easy to use and stick really well. I have made three cards that just look beautiful together so, I have decided to turn them into a two hour project to submit to Kaszazz. I will be testing them in a fortnight on the Wednesday. That will (hopefully give me enough time to twick the instructions enough). I am thinking of calling the workshop Vintage Blossoms and Pearls? What do you think?

Birthday card for Hubby

Well, its Hubby's birthday tomorrow and by two little men, decided we should make dad a card with just a few items. The small and medium circle punches, a set of alphabet stamps, some silver brads and a few sheets of paper. I said ok, no prob. Lets see what we come up with. Well, a few minutes in the two little men had disappeared and left me to finish. Hopefully the men in my life will like it! Happy Birthday Scotty. We all love you very much. Have a fabulous day!!!

Kaszazz Creative Swap No.9

Ok, I have finally finished it. Honestly thought I was not going to be able to complete my own challenge and have it up for you before the end of today. So, much has happened this week. Time to sit and create has been extremely limited. The good news is I have meet some lovely new customers. Hi ladies, (if you are reading this).

Now, for the challenge. I have used denim essential 12 x12, lemon essential 12x12,
A5 white card stock, NEW sticky gems, Picket fence stamp, flower border stamp, design adhesive butterfly borders (MY FAV product at the moment!!!!), Aquacolor Crayons and Perfect Pearls. This was definately not my original idea. It just developed from starting other things.

As, for the Challenge No. 10, I have given you creative licence to create your own creation. The only real requirement is that it include NEW EMBELLISHMENTS, from the May release. Amazing bright spotty grosgain ribbons, sticky gems and bling, lovely soft big flowers and big black and white brads. So many to choose from. And endless ideas and opportunities. Have fun creating!! HOT KASZAZZ NEWS

DIE CUTTING MACHINE. Yep, that is right, in the next few months Kaszazz will be releasing their own die cutting machine. It will be new to Australia and will be big enough to fit A4 paper. It is said to be compatible with other leading brands. As more details are released I will keep you up to date!! Stay tuned for more information

Team Training May 2010

Not long now, until some of the Kaszazz consultants get to see and play with some of the wonderful new release products. I am holding a team training day with one of my wonderful consultants Heidi. It will be at my place on Sunday. We have some wonderful new projects and products coming. As, well as some amazing news!! Stay tuned I think you are going to love it. Kaszazz creative swap No.9

Wow, hard to believe we have made it to number 9 for the year. For those of you who have just found my blog, I started a simple swap every fortnight with the girls in my team. This was to make us all think outside our usual comfort zone and for us to try out techniques or products we would not normally try. Because we all live extremely busy lives and have families with young children, we thought it would be easier if we could just make one of the swap and just post the pictures on our blogs or facebook. Since this began at the beginning of the year I have had a few requests from customers (consultants) about joining the swap.

Because we were only making one of the swaps, we needed a more neutral place for everyone to be able to post their creations. Facebook was our answer. Thanks to Felicity for helping me set up the "Kaszazz creative challenge" page available for all to view and put their creations on.

I am also still posting on my blog as a lot of my customers are not members of facebook.

So, this fortnights challenge (now due on the 23rd of May), is all about mum. I have asked the followers to do a scrapbook page about MUM - whether it be about their mums or themselves as a mum. The challenge this time also had a colour component. Very little pink, blue and yellow (what possessed me to decide that I will never know). Good luck with the challenge. I am looking forward to seeing what you all come up with
