Kaszazz Creative Challenges - is now on Facebook

Well, the challenges have made it to their own facebook page. A few of you out there, asked if you could join the swap, but did not want to have a blog, nor did you want people to be going through all your photos. I was really uncertain about how, we could tackle this issue. Then, I realised most of you are on facebook. There had to be away, that I could make it work on facebook. Since, I am technology challenged, I asked Felicity (one of the wonderful girls in my team), if she knew away to make this idea work. Within, a few minutes Felicity had the page up and running. I thought great. Now all I need to do is take my time and get the challenges running smoothly with just my team, then we will add other.

To my suprise, I woke up this morning, and had 6 messages, from people who had joined the group. How amazing is that. In less then 24 hours we have over 30 members. (Last, time I checked we were at 36). Thank you everyone. Let's see how this works............

Kaszazz creative Swap No.7

Here is my 7th creative swap for 2010. I have used the girl rub ons, a the papers are from Kaszazz's own Bella paper range.
Below is a photo of some of the rub ons, I have. I LOVE rub ons. They are easy to use and we have such a fantastic variety. My favourites, are the girl ones and the ones with bling attached. I am thinking I might use them in our next challenge also.

Now, for challenge number 8. We are going to attempt a sketch challenge. I have sketched out a layout below, for everyone to follow. I am going to attempt to make a card and a scrapbook layout using the same design. Not sure how yet..... but stay tuned, I am sure I will think of something.

Have fun crafting. I will be back soon.

Here is a picture of the 1st lot of storage I could not live without. They are simple plastic boxes from Ikea, that cost around $6. They hold more than you think and are extremely light. Stackable, which makes them fantasic when space is an issue. The boxes are approximately 35cm in length, 20cm wide and 7cm deep. As you can see they clearly have three compartments. When purchased they do come with other smaller dividers to make the larger sections smaller.
This picture shows you can fit our ink pads in them. I have a box for each of our major ink ranges (Vivid, Distress, Ancient Page, and Colorbox Archival and Colorbox Fluid Chalk). I just grabbed a handful of each and put in one box just so you could see that they fit really easily. (the Vivid inks do lie down - they are just standing up so you can see them).

They are also fantastic for embossing powders, glitter and distress crackle paint. Needless to say I have a container for each of these products to.

As you can see you can fit all of the Distress Embossing powders in one container. How fantastic is that?

I will be back soon with some more ideas. Stay tuned....................

Storage

I have been listening to a lot of you ask me lots, of questions about storage. I am planning on taking some photos, and sharing my storage secrets (not really), with you. So, stay tuned hopefully in the next day or two I will have some photos to share with you

Keep in mind, I am lucky enough to have a room in which I can hold classes and store my craft supplies. I do have to share it with my husband and all of his tools and computer bits and pieces. The room does also have some of our childrens stuff in it. Storage and organisation (for my stuff) has been of importance to me.

so, pop back soon and see what I have to share...............

Next challenge is going to be rub ons. For more information please contact me and I will let you the details. It is not hard to participate and you only need to make one.

Kaszazz Creative Swap No.6

Well, how time flys? While I was away, it dawned on me I had completely forgotten about the challenge I had set out for the fortnight. It plagued on me and with no supplies to play with, it was all about doodling out ideas and searching for inspiration for when I got home.

I was lucky enough yesterday, that hubby gave me a few hours to play in my "creative space", while him and my two boys unpacked the new camper trailer. The finished project took less then the two hours and turned out rather well. I have already had requests from a few of you to turn it into a workshop. So, the writing stage has already started and I will soon be on the look out for testers. (I also have another two, I am finalising the writing - so, lots of testers will be needed).

Next challenge will be set before tomorrow. Ummmm.............. Wonder what it will be? Better get my thinking cap on. Until then Stay safe and have fun crafting

Holidays

Well, I have been away for just over a week. Relaxing in lovely Mt Gambier. Who could possibly ask for more? It was just the four of us (my loving hubby - Scott and my two amazing boys - Jacob and Joshua). We had the most relaxing time, sharing the beautiful town together. Hubby has a thing for underground caves. So, needless to say the boys got there first taste of the wonderful natural limestone caves that are found in this region. We took tours of the Tantaloonia, Naracoorte and Engelbercht and Princess Margaret Rose caves. The boys were amazed by the beauty and splendour the caves have to offer. And before I forget the Blue lake. How wonderfully Blue the water is? The lake was a vibrant deep blue.

While I was a way so much has happened and I am spending alot of time wading through (what seems like) endless emails and messages. So, please give me a little bit of time to get back to you if you one of the unfortunate people I have not had time to contact.

Firstly I would like to congratulate Brigitta and her family on the safe arrival of Henry. He is a beautiful little boy that I am hoping to get more cuddles from over the following weeks. Secondly, I would like to congratulate Felicity on becoming a Team Leader and for Vanessa choosing to join our team. I would like to wish her every sucess in her journey with our Kaszazz family.

Lots more to share and tell. But I am going to leave it here for now.

Before I forget Team Training Day is coming up very shortly. More details to follow soon. Take care and have fun Crafting !!!!
