I'm Back

Hi everyone, I apologise for my absence. Our lives were turned upside down about 3 weeks ago when my aunty's live was ended suddenly. It has hit us all really hard. We are now coming to terms with everything and I am trying to hide myself in amongst my wonderful craft supplies. It is amazing what you can acheive when you need to hide away for a little while.

So, I have completed the last creative challenge. I have used the Cyan Jade paper and the Kasz Rub ons Alphabet and numbers in white. Butterscotch essential has been used behind the paper and Blue jay had been used behind a couple of the photos. Olive has been used to punch the butterflies and then some vellum has been added over the top to soften them. Stickles has been added to the wings for a little touch of bling. First time in ages I have scrapped something that is not a human. Result was a lot better then first imagined. Hope you like it!!

how awesome are these products. Anyone who knows me, knows I cannot get enough design adhesives and now I am going to be hanging out to get some foils to try. Love smooch spritz's too, what an amazing selections of colours to now choose from I will be placing an order tomorrow. If anyone is after anything please let me know asap.

Kaszazz Creative Challenge

Well, it has been a while, but we are back into the swing of the creative challenges. The recent challenge was to create a single page layout using one colour. Shades of one colour. I originally thought this was going to be really difficult and i have been putting off doing it. Then last night, I went it is time to knuckle down and do it. So I pulled out my plain coloured papers and worked out i had more green. Suprised? I was. .... Then i went to perfect pearls, gems, flowers, inks etc... Started off making atc's, as i thought that would get me thinking green. Next I decided why not put the atc's on the page. This is the final outcome...

I am finding this wonderful piece of equipment, the easiest to use. So, easy to turn the handle. I have had fun creating cards and pages with the embossing folders and dies. These beautiful cards are a two hour workshop, that those who attended ttd got to make. How beautiful is this paper? This workshop is the Emily Rose ribbon cards. It truly is eazy to use, fits a complete A4 size, and is compatible, with other brands such as cuttlebug and sizzix. I have had mine for just over a week and LOVE IT. September 2010 TTD

Well, it is over. I have had so much fun playing and enjoying the new products. Kaszazz have really been listening to what their consultants have really been wanting. The new papers are beautiful and are suitable for both male and females. New, rub ons are in colours and are amazingly easy to rub on. Cute adorable animals and fairies are not just available in the rub ons but also in matching stamps. Kaszazz now has two exclusive rollagraph wheels - one has the cute adorable animals. The other has butterflies. The same butterflies are also available on their own stamp. Oh, it feels as though this release is endless.

I was lucky enough to host this TTD. So, I have been eagerly waiting to be able to share. I have loved the endless projects and ideas that have come out.

Oh, oh, oh, oh, there is something big I need to share.................... oh, you will have to wait it needs its own posting.

New White D Ring Album

How exciting, is this?......... Our wonderful D ring albums, not only come in black and brown. WHITE. White albums, would be wonderful, for all sorts of creations, but especially for baby's, wedding's and maybe beach albums. I am really hanging out to get my hands on on. (Hopefully this week).

Playing with Travel Scraps

Here is 1 of a few designs I have been playing with. I had a lot of left overs from some previous workshops and decided it was time to create something with them. Tina Wright over at http://www.scrapknack.com/ (another fellow consultant), had made some really impressive cards with the same papers. It is amazing at how versatile, this paper can really be. I have come up with a few more designs since this one. (Suprisingly). I think they may make it onto my turn into a workshop list. (Which is, unfortunately, getting really long). Hope I can get to them soon.

I will try and get back tomorrow to share the new reindeer punch. I love it. I might even show you a card designed by one of my Morella ladies, Betty. Keep your finger crossed and I will be back tomorrow. Till then keep crafting....

BABY JACK

Welcome to the world "baby Jack". Baby Jack is my 1st nephew ( I already have 3 nieces). Jack (named after my grandfather), is my twin sisters 2nd child. This beautiful little man graced us with his presence two weeks early via emergency c section on the 9th August. This little boy only weighed just over 5 pounds.

This page was inspired by the "sweet as" enchanted workshop, I held a couple of weeks ago. Hope my sister likes this page. She will be getting it for her birthday in December!!

1st ATC Swap

I finally gave in a decided to participate in my 1st ATC swap. The theme for this month was "things with wings".. Kaszazz has so many options for this theme. I found it super hard, to narrow down what it was that I wanted to use. But finally I decided to use the Dogwood rollagraph. It is my favourite rollagraph wheel (that I own). So what do you think? It was alot of fun. Hopefully I will be able to participate in a few more swaps before the end of the year.

How exciting are these new products???? I know, that most of them are on my wish list. Especially the reindeer and the sleigh punches. Oh, and maybe the snowflake. Well, i have played around with the new Christmas stamps and I have had a complete ball. Love most of them, and can say I now own most of them. What a great collection and range of Christmas designs now available through Kaszazz. This is just a few of what I have done over the past few weeks. Hope you like them

Kaszazz Creative Challenge No.13

I have had lots of fun playing with my rollagraphs. They are very easy to use. Fantastic for backgrounds. And come in a great variety of wheels. (Some of the wheel designs are also available in Design Adhesives). My favourite, wheel at the moment is botanical tiles. This is my latest creation, using this wheel.Challenge No 14 is all about Christmas!! So bring out those Christmas inspired products and have a play. Kaszazz has a wide variety of products that are perfect for Christmas projects. Our glitters and embossing powders are ideal for these festive projects.

Christmas in July release 2010

oh, my goodness, I am loving this release. My original plan was to scan the brochure, to show, you the wonderful stamps. Instead, I am having too much fun with the stamps. So, I think as I create some new creations I will just upload them for you to see instead. The pointsettia, stamp is gorgeous. I have been having amazing fun playing with this. I think these may end up as workshop submission. Gorgeous and simple.

I have also used the Christmas Rubons. LOVE THEM

Challenge 12 2010 photos

Yeah, I finally have the pictures up!! For some reason, everytime I went to post the images, blogger was turning them sideways. It seems to be ok now. These few cards were for "cute as a bug" challenge number 12. I have used the stampes from the cute as a bug stamp set and coloured them in with smooch. Black gel pen has been used to hand draw all the dots and lines. The fancy flourishes are rub ons.

Kaszazz Creative Challenge No 13

Time to set the next challenge. ROLLAGRAPHS. Anything you like but you must use a rollagraph somewhere. Kaszazz has so many to choose from. In my recent cleaning spree, I found out I own, ALOT, of rollagraph wheels and some of them are fabulous!!!! I am desperate to find sometime to make some great (hopefully) creations, and thought this would ensure I would.

As, for the last challenge, I have had a few issues trying to upload the photos. I will try again late tomorrow when I have more time. If you have sometime and would like to see the photos, I have already uploaded them to the Facebook group, Kaszazz Creative Challenge.

Kaszazz Creative Challenge No.11

Not sure if I posted the last challenge. If I didn't I apologise. I set a recipe challenge.

1 x SB double sided paper (you can use one or both sides)

2 x embellishments

3 x ribbon(s)

2 x Stamps if needed

2 x bazzill or essential or papers

The idea is to take these ingredients and make a card. This challenge finishes this Sunday (4th July 2010).

I found this recipe challenge a little more challenging than I thought it was going to be. I also realised that this could be interrpreted in many ways. Anyway, I have finished my card. Not too sure what I think off it.

I have used a piece of oatmeal card for the base and a piece for the message. A sticky gem and a flower for the embellishment. A picece of castaway crackle. Brown organdy, cream rick rack, and light blue twill for the ribbons. The bird from the love and cherish set and the Just thinking of you from the mini messages.

Ok, I am in love with the quality of the new ribbon. It is worth every cent. I am hanging out to get some of the other colours and designs now. Look, at the brillant size of the cutting mat. It is 12.5" x 12.5". A fantastic size for cards and scrapbook pages alike. I am loving the craft tray. The craft tray shown here is the large size. Great for embossing and glitter, water techniques and other fun crafting techniques. The trimmer, is the most awesome trimmer I have used. It is extremely easy to use and has some fantastic decorative cutting blades available. And how wonderful does the Adhesive Flock, look. I am hanging out to make a few ideas that are buzzing around in my head. If anyone, would love to see these items (and more) up close, leave me a message and I will get back to you asap. Oliver Owl

In the May 2010 release, Kaszazz released a new owl stamp. His name is Oliver owl. Anyone who attended a team training day received Oliver as a thank you for attending gift. Oliver is really cute. And looks amazing stamped in lots of different colours. Morella were lucky enough to play with Oliver on Monday. I took in a bunch of cards I had made with Oliver. The ladies loved him. I have not stamped any "messages/sayings" on the cards, purely as I was unsure of what I might use the cards for. A few of the consultants in my team have asked if I could write them up as project for Kaszazz. Not sure about the idea. I think I need to make a couple more cards before I could even think about writing them up. Unfortunately the photo does not do them justice. I have stamped the circle trio stamp in the background in perfect medium. Really cute, or not, tell me what you think?

Todays Creation

Well, I have been asked by some customers of mine, to create some male cards using the All Boy paper (co - incidently, Morella has also asked for Male cards for next weeks class). So, this morning was put aside to doing just that. I started out cutting all the squares out of the All boy! Patch/ Stars paper. Then, opened up my scrap file and limited my usage to what was in front of me. I think the results are alot better, than I would have hoped for. Hope the ladies, like these designs. Stay crafty.

Random Cards from Morella

These cards are just a few of the ones I have taught at Morella over the last few months. A big HELLO, to all the ladies from Morella (I know some of you pop past every now and then to see what I have been up too). For anyone who is interested, I teach a random, bunch of techniques and card making skills, at Morella community centre every Monday 12:30 - 2:30pm. Cost is $10 (Extremely good value). Morella has a great array of class and community events that are held there on a daily basis. Why not pop past and check out what they are doing. Kaszazz Creative Challenge No.10

I have finished. I am quite impressed with the outcome. It was exactly what was in my head. Seriously that does not happen all that often. I have used the new romance range of papers, smooch spritz, large rhinestones, love bling words and purple organdy ribbon. Just really wish my photo was ready for me to put on. Alas, I am still waiting. So, as soon as I get it I will post again with the photo.

Last Nights Workshop

Last night, we did the Shrinky Dink boy cards. Lots of fun was had by all - especially those that had not played with shrinky dinks before. Lots of laughs and stories were told. These fantastic and very imaginative cards were created Zena Melville. If anyone would like to do, these cards please let me know. I would be more than happy to teach them again. They've Done It Again :)

Just when you start to wonder what could Kaszazz, possibly put in their next release, because you are loving the last lot of products, they suprise you. Our monthly consultant newsletter "The Kaszazz Star", was sent out last night. To, my suprise Kaszazz has been busy with new products to share with us once again. Apparently, these were supposed to be in our May release, but due to supplier issues, they have only just become available.

Ok, I know you are hanging out to see what Kaszazz has to offer you. We have new ribbons, old ribbons at cheaper prices, crafty trays, a large 12x12 cutting mat and two new stamps. Loving my Shrinky Dinks

Well, I have a new found love for this amazing product. It is heaps of fun and kids just love it!! I made my mum a card for mothers day and she thought it was amazing. Thought i would share it with all of you. Let me know what you think.

Baby Shower Invites

Picket Fence Page
